GAA National Games Development Centre, Abbotstown, Dublin.
This new GAA National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown cost €12 Million with state-of-the-art facilities, designed to cater for teams from all around Ireland. This project includes a total of five playing pitches all floodlit, one 3G pitch, one hurling wall and a pavilion which houses 10 dressing rooms, reception area and gymnasium, and associated facilities for physiotherapy, referees, meeting rooms and dining facilities. A covered seated spectator area adjoining the pavilion can cater for 400 people. The Centre seeks to increase participation and to improve the performance of individuals within the GAA for the benefit of both the Association, individuals and Ireland.
